Gravestone of George W Holliday
George Washington Holliday was the 7th child of Robert Alexander and Rebecca Holliday. His fallen headstone lies behind that of his Grandmother, Amy Borough. He died on May 22nd and was one of three of their children to die in the space of a week, in May 1834. Along with Jane Holliday, who died May 19th and whose headstone survives, his sister, Amy, also died the same week (born November 7th 1826-

Jane Holliday was the eighth child (3rd daughter) of Robert Alexander and Rebecca Holliday. She was one of three of their children to die in the space of a week, when an epidemic hit the household in May, 1834
